Metrowalk is a new walkable, transit-oriented community, steps to the new Metrolink Station, which provides attainably priced intergenerational homes to meet the City’s housing needs allocation. NUWI identified an industrial site, adjacent to the Vista Canyon master-planned development, and proposed a project that would support the adjacent office and retail, as well as minimize traffic and other impacts associated with the prior zoning.

 

Metrowalk required a general plan amendment and zone change and was unanimously approved by City Council in 2021, 11 months from project submittal.
